What makes a chord Major or Minor?


The first clue is the sound. You can literally hear the difference. But there’s a lot more to it than that. There’s actual math behind it.


Now before all you math haters start groaning, just listen for a bit. It’s really not that hard to learn and once you do, you’ll be better off for it. You can always go back to relying on your ears to find the chord, but you should at least know the theory behind it, m’kay?
