Lead Sheet Tutorial: How To Play IF I FELL By The Beatles

Valentine’s day is just a few days away. Wouldn’t it be cool to give your honey pie a SONG this year? You could learn LOVE ME TENDER  if you are very new to piano. If you’ve been playing for a few months, try today’s tutorial, which covers A TON of ground.

Repeat signs.

Coda signs.

Flats and Sharps

Major and Minor chords.

If you are interested in playing from Lead Sheets (and I believe you should be) then please download the sheet here. If you’re worried about buying a digital download when you’re not sure if you can get through the whole song, don’t worry! You can just print the first sample page. You won’t be able to follow my instructions for the second page, but no big deal. Just follow on the video, and try to play the first page.

This lead sheet uses beginner notes, which means the letters are written inside the notes. I love using these because it gives beginners a chance to play challenging songs with one less thing to worry about: pitches. You can focus on the rhythm and finger technique. Perfect!

I hope you like the song. Let me know if you have any questions!
